Raja ampat is one of the few place on earth where you can still find most of the existing marine life species. Our jetty is an ideal place to enjoy sunsets and to take a relaxing swim. Our rich house reef is the perfect place for future divers taking their Open Water Courses, and also a very special place to snorkel.

Raja Ampat Dive Resort is a cozy resort located in Wigeo Island, only 20 minutes distance from Waisai Harbor. All the Resort is surrounded by nature and offers beautiful sea view from all our rooms and from the restaurant area as well. Walk ten meters from your room terrrance and get to our long desert beach, where you can take nice walks during low tide and visit the local villages.

The sea is very calm at our house reef, so it’s the best spot for experiencing the first contact with the water, foor relaxing water activities and for families with children who wants to enjoy the marine life in a monitored area. Native butterflies and birds are all around the resort are, so be ready to have an amazing experience in our little private paradise in-between the jungle and the sea.

Where is RADR Location?

Raja Ampat Dive Resort is located in Waigeo Island. 20 minutes away from Waisai Harbor by speedboad or 25 minutes away by car.

Located off the northwest tip of Bird’s Head Peninsula on the island on New Guinea, in Indonesia’s West Papua Province, Raja Ampat, or The Four Kings, is an archipelago comprising over 1500 small islands, cays, and shoals surrounding the four main islands of Batanta, alawati, Misool, Waigeo, and the smaller island of Kofiau.

Raja Ampat is located in West Papua of Indonesia which was formerly Irian Jaya. It encompasses more than 40.000 km2 of land and sea. The nearest city center in Waisai (capital city of Raja Ampat) can be reached in 20 minutes in our speedboats, where you can find all services needed. Small supermarkets, pharmacies, local markets, a hospital and he deco-chamber are located very near from our resort.

If you want to go diving or snorkeling, this is definitely the right location. The sea gives you the feeling of swimming in an aquarium. The staff is absolutely amazing, extremely solution-oriented, and friendly. The diving was spectacular, probably the best variety of coral and fish life I have ever dived💕 Overall an excellent holiday, and I would certainly consider returning to the Raja Ampat Dive Resort again in the future.

Wir hatten 5 Nächte im Raja Ampat Dive Resort verbracht. Ein sehr schönes Resort mit sehr schönen Zimmern. Wir hatten Deluxe Zimmer, ein ganzes Haus, unten eine Sitzgelegenheit und oben mit Balkon und einem klimatisierten Zimmer. Das Zimmer war geräumig mit sehr schön gemauerten Badezimmer und extra Toilette. Das Essen war in Buffet und war sehr lecker 😋. Besonders herzlich war das ganze Team! Die Managerin im Resort hat sich um alles gekümmert, ich hatte mich im letzten Resort verletzt und musste einen Termin für eine Röntgen Untersuchung vereinbaren, in Sorong. Sie half mir sehr dabei. Alle vom Team waren so herzlich und haben unseren Urlaub noch schöner gemacht, vielen lieben Dank! Der Ausflug zum wilson bird of Paradies war super. Das hausriff ist sehr schön zum schnorcheln. Der Tauchgang war auch super bei Cap Kri und Blue Magic. Das Tauchteam war gut organisiert. Wir wünschen dem ganzem Team alles Beste, liebe Grüße auch an Buddy ,den kleinen Hundewelpen!

Wir waren im May mit unserer Familie, 2 Jungs (4&11) vor Ort und wir wurden behandelt wie VIP Gäste. Sie hatten sich so liebevoll um uns gekümmert, das Essen war so gut und die frischen Säfte so erfrischend. Inmitten der Natur.

Very nice location, decent house reef for snorkelling. Food was excellent. Good wildlife on site and in the local area (bird watching points close by) Fruit bats in the evening, cuscus every so often too! The huts were all superb and well maintained and clean and all unique (we got to see inside several of them!!) Having a raised walkway off the sand did help with keeping the rooms and areas clean. The resort area was well maintained and raked and clean.

The location is amazing, with a private beach with white sand. They have a jetty from where one can see some mind blowing sunsets and some crazy sun rises. The staff is amazing, the most beautiful people I have ever encountered in my life. Hope to come back there soon.

A great dive centre with a good dive master (Jerry) which made our dives enjoyable. Food was always aplenty and the amenities were the best we had stayed at, with our own shower, toilet, fresh and hot water. The reception was helpful in answering any questions we had and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous location close to dive sites. Dive masters were professional and friendly. Shout out to Ronaldo and Herman. All staff were very hard working and very caring. Yaasiel took care of our arrangements whilst there. Bella and Jolee were delightful. Arson and his boat crew handled our trip to boarding the ferry. Food was plentiful and DELICIOUS!! Cottage was clean and comfortable. That we were there for only 3 days, wish we had booked a longer stay.
